Delete Your Account in the App
- Open VitaTrail.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Privacy and Data Control.
- Select Delete Account or Request Data Deletion.
- Confirm the request after reviewing what will be deleted.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@vitatrail.app from the email address linked to your VitaTrail account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting data.
What Will Be Deleted
- Your VitaTrail account profile and app user ID association.
- Uploaded health reports, photos, PDFs, and original files.
- Extracted markers, AI summaries, notes, daily logs, concern history, and vitality trend data.
- Family sharing memberships, managed family profiles, access permissions, and most access logs associated with your account.
- Support messages linked only to your account, unless retention is required for legal or safety reasons.
What May Be Retained Temporarily or Anonymized
- Purchase records kept by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their rules.
- Security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, legal, or dispute records where retention is required.
- Backup copies for a limited period, typically up to 90 days.
- Aggregated or anonymized product metrics that cannot reasonably identify you.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by law or a longer period is needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute reasons. Backup deletion may take up to 90 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your VitaTrail account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions directly in your Apple or Google account to stop future renewals.
